Importing a Changan EV: charging and connectivity checks
Charging and connectivity are part of vehicle selection. Confirm them against the actual China-market vehicle and your destination rather than assuming an overseas model page describes the same equipment.
Check the connector and supply
Confirm AC and DC charging interfaces, supported electrical requirements and the charging equipment supplied with the vehicle. Any proposed adapter or conversion needs vehicle-specific review; a photograph of a connector is not sufficient confirmation.
Check language and online services
Record the vehicle’s available interface languages and the online functions your buyers need. Navigation, accounts, mobile applications and connected services can depend on the market and service provider. Do not assume they will work everywhere.
Keep the agreement precise
Add essential charging and language requirements to the sourcing brief. Ask the importer to confirm destination approvals and registration requirements before committing to a vehicle. Keep those checks with the agreed specification.
