Document requirements depend on the vehicle, transaction and destination. Start the review early so that the sourcing proposal and receiving importer’s requirements can be considered together.
Confirm the destination requirements
Ask the receiving importer or a qualified local adviser to identify current import, conformity and registration requirements. A vehicle being sold in China does not establish that it can be registered in every destination.
Align the vehicle information
Keep the exact model, trim, quantity and vehicle identity aligned across the agreed order and relevant documents. Ask which documentation and export-related services the proposed scope includes.
Review before shipment
Confirm the transport arrangement and the responsibilities of each party. Review document requirements against the agreed contract and destination needs. Ask the sourcing team about the specific order rather than assuming a single universal document package.
